Our in vitro fertilization (IVF) laboratory in Raleigh specializes in embryology, andrology, and endocrinology. We are among the largest and most advanced labs in the region.
The IVF lab at SGF Carolinas is equipped with the latest advanced technology to give patients every advantage on their journey to conceive. These technologies include HEPA-filtered clean air ventilation systems, heated workstations simulating the In Vivo (Latin for “within the living”) environment, anti-vibration tables, highly sophisticated inverted microscopes for better evaluation of embryo growth and development, advanced incubators, media, and other technological advances in the field.
The IVF lab at SGF Carolinas is certified and inspected by the Department of Health and Human Services under the Clinical Laboratory Improvements Amendments (CLIA) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). We are active members of the Society for Assisted Reproductive Technologies (SART). As one of the largest and most advanced IVF labs in the area, SGF Carolinas is ready to make your family-building dreams a reality.

Meet the IVF lab director & manager at SGF Carolinas: Douglas Peak, T.S., E.L.D.
Douglas Peak, T.S., E.L.D. is certified by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) as an Embryology Laboratory Director and Technical Supervisor in Embryology and Andrology.
Douglas serves as the lab manager and IVF laboratory director for SGF Carolinas.
