I did experience some mild cramping during the procedure, but it was nothing too severe or any worse than the SHG that I had the previous day. The whole process from start to finish was less than 3 minutes and I did not feel any pain or cramping afterwards. I was terrified after reading many of these posts, and the anxiety and anticipation were much worse than the actual procedure (for me at least). My tubes were clear, which was a little surprising since I have endometriosis. While I do believe the women who say they experience significant pain during the procedure, please realize this will not be the same experience for everyone and try not to stress out about it too much.
