This is my 2nd time experiencing clotting. Compared to others I was told it’s not as bad but at age 40 with no kids I’m worried. Can you please explain why I have a normal cycle of 5-7 days no clotting. Then I have a 14day and counting. Out of the 14 day I’ve clotted twice. I’m not on birth control… was never pregnant so I think. Should I be worried or is this normal. At the suppose end period day I did go on a detox which seem to bring period down. Can you please help

Hi Saraphina, we’re glad you’re being proactive about your fertility health. Irregular periods are more common in women than you may think. If you are trying to conceive, we recommend seeing a fertility specialist immediately, as irregular cycles mean irregular ovulation, but are highly effective to treat. If you are not trying to conceive at this time, speak to your OB/GYN about options to regulate your cycles.
If you would like to speak with someone for more information about trying to conceive with irregular cycles, or to schedule an appointment with a fertility specialist, fill out this form or call 1-877-971-7755.

When I first hut puberty, it lasted 7 days. A few years later, it reduced to 3 days. I’m now 27 and has reduced to 2 days…. does this mean my fertility has lowered and I’m headed for menopause soon?

Luckily there are places like yours that can help other women. 🙂

Hi there,
Irregular cycles are common and usually treatable. If you are trying to conceive, it is best to meet with a fertility specialist and get fertility testing done to get you started on the best path to pregnancy. If you are not trying to conceive, speak with your OB/GYN on your irregular cycles.

Hi Faith,
Irregular cycles are very common and treatable. You should talk to your OB/GYN about this occurring. Simple testing can be done to see what is causing your irregular cycles.
Good luck!

Hi Lisa,
We’re sorry to hear about your journey trying to conceive. Secondary infertility is common, but not often talked about. I recommend talking to a fertility specialist and getting your fertility tested, especially because of your recurrent miscarriages.
Read more about secondary infertility here, and if you have any questions or would like to speak to someone about scheduling an appointment, fill out this form.
Best of luck!

Hi there,
Irregular cycles are common and treatable. The best thing you can do is meet with a fertility specialist and get your fertility tested. Fertility testing will provide the most accurate insight to why your cycles are irregular and your physician will be able to create a treatment plan to regulate your cycles.
