    What is infertility?

    Infertility affects both women and men. Traditionally, a fertility specialist will assume infertility is present based on the following definition. When a woman is:

    • Under 35 with regular cycles, unprotected intercourse and no pregnancy after 1 year
    • 35 to 39 with regular cycles, unprotected intercourse and no pregnancy after 6 months
    • 40 or over with regular cycles, unprotected intercourse, more immediate evaluation and treatment are warranted

    To determine your eligibility, please review our network participation list below.     IVF Advantage

    Shady Grove Fertility’s new IVF Advantage program was designed to help make treatment more affordable for Virginians living in the Richmond, Roanoke, and Hampton Roads metro regions. IVF Advantage allows individuals and families earning up to $150,000 the ability to access a significant discount on treatment.  

    Eligible patients must have proof of residency in Virginia within 85 miles of one of five Virginia locations: Henrico, Stony Point, Roanoke, Norfolk or Virginia Beach.
